Here are a few EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomena) that we have gathered.  I do not consider a class "C" EVP acceptable evidence! I have put a few of these together, however there are many more throughout the site on individual investigation pages.  

   "Leave me alone"  Full Speed

   "leave me alone" Half Speed, Increased Volume (normalized)

The above EVP, in full speed may be hard to hear.  Turn your sound up a bit or use headphones.  I love my Bose Quiet Comforts, which allow me to pick up the softest noise while reviewing evidence (as this one was).  The second is the same file, slowed to half speed and volue increased (normalized). Nothing else was done to the file.  There is something that at the begining that I have yet to make out followed by a very clear "leave me alone".

     "Isint she lovely"  

This EVP was taken from an ongoing investigation site. At the time this was collected, it was not heard by any of the investigators, however it turned up this clear on multiple recorders during review.  Please note that the strange tone and weird noise is NOT a product of audio enhancement- this sound is just as it occured on the recorders. It sounds like a English accent doesnt it?  This is the exact EVP just as collected and is not modified in any way!

  "knocks" (with EMF Spikes)

During this EVP session, Gary had asked for a noise.  We were also running the K11 meter.  We had a large spike in the K11 in response.  The hollow knocks were not heard during the session but did show up on review.  These are NOT enhanced or modified- this is just the way is was on TWO seperate recorders! 

   "Im turning"

From our investigation of a private residence in McAlester.   The words "Im turning" followed by other utterances. This occured in conjunction with the turning off of one of our investigators electronic equipment.  I saw the other investigator looking at their equipment and asked "Are you ready over there".   The DVR and my personal camcorder was running and picked this up.  Earlier in the evening in the same room, other investigatiors equipment also turned off with no explination.  All of these were recorded on video camera. This evp has been normalized.  The voice is close to the end and very soft and quiet... listen close!

  "Not that you would comprehend" 

This is one of many EVP's that we obtained using the "EMF pump" and is an obvious reply to a question!  This is pretty amazing and a great class A, not only because of the clarity but also that it is multiple words (phrase).  I do have some more experimenting to do with the pump as we obtained a lot of noise on the recording and we are figuring that one out still. 

  Could this be the name "Maxwell'?  You decide.  That is the name of a person we feel that may be haunting this location!

EVP from the CHELSEA INVESTIGATION

  This was a struggle to call as EVP's go because something was heard at the time but was no understood... so, was it a diembodied voice?  We will call it a Class A EVP because I did not understand what was said at the time.  On play back it cannot be disputed!   The voice has been amplified some and noise reduction applied.  See the Chelsea Haunting page for more of these!
